A few weeks before the beginning of the festivities, there are some other events, such as the giving out of hot cholocate, a fanfare or a mass to honour the dead organizers of past festivities.

Paella is one of the symbols of these festivities, being cooked outdoors for everyone, both the visitors and the people from the town, and there being paella contests too. Moreover, there is a small funfair at the main plaza and a handcraft and traditional fair.

The last day of the patron saint festivities there is a big mass, a procession and the popular mascletàs (fireworks show), one at noon and one at night.

FESTES DE LA CREU (FESTIVITY OF THE CROSS)
