FARTONS
INGREDIENTS
INDICATIONS
First, we dilute the baker's yeast in water and put the flour in a bowl, adding the different ingredients: the water with the yeast, the sugar and the eggs, mixing it all well. After we get that mixture, we add the sunflower oil and the salt, and we mix it all again until we get a uniform dough.
Once on the table, in the same bowl, we let it settle covered with transparent film or a wet cloth until it doubles its size, taking between 2 and 3 hours. After that time, we can start to make the so-called fartons, taking a ball of dough, making it round on sprinkled flour for it not to get sticky and stretching it out. Then, we put the farton in the baking sheet in the oven, previously spreaded with butter or a bit of flour, so that we can take them out easily after being baking.
When all the fartons are made, we bake them in the oven previously heated at 180ºC for 15-18 minutes. When they are brown, they are ready. While baking, we will prepare the icing sugar to spread on the fartons, putting the icing sugar in a container and adding 50ml mid temperature, stirring well until we get a thick and white syrup.
Finally, we take the fartons out of the oven and put the icing sugar all over them while they are hot, and then they are ready to be served.
