 EAT HEALTHY FOODS

1. Eat fruits, vegetables and varied whole grains on a daily basis.

2. Eating organic fruits and vegetables is healthy and helps prevent abuse of chemicals such as fertilizers and insecticides.

3. Eating fish three or more times per week provides us with omega essential fatty acids.

4. It is advisable to eat chicken, turkey, rabbit and ostrich meat.

5. Hydrate properly.

6. Limit consumption of high-calorie beverages, sugar, salt, fat or alcohol.

7. Consume little salt and seasoning (try lemon zest instead).

8. Reduce intake of saturated fats.

9. As early as the age of four start to monitor and moderate dairy fat intake.

10. Eat a balanced diet to help you maintain a healthy weight.

11. Keep a regular schedule for your main meals.

12. Chewing food slowly will help your digestive system work quicker by making digestion lighter and preventing disease, excessive acidity or excessive energy spent towards food digestion.

13. If you like mint you can use it before your meals in case you suffer from an urge to eat more than necessary.
