1. Recycling is a very fun game; it’s placing each item in the appropriate color container.
2. Do not throw litter on the ground.
3. As resources are limited, share your toys and material with other children. When you no longer make use of it, pass it on to other children.
4. Draw on the back of an already used sheet, this way you'll be recycling paper.
5. Plants are living things, they are not to be stepped or pulled on and they need to be watered on a daily basis.
6. Make something new out of old objects: recycling handcrafts, recycled sporting goods, recycled art...
7. Play in the dark: saving electricity is something important and indeed, we should turn off the lights every time we can do without it, and save energy in order to care for the environment this way. A fun idea, which also involves the little ones in the house: at the weekend or a few hours before bed, we can play candles or shadow puppets in complete darkness and even tell fun scary stories. This way not only can we have fun at home but also spend less light.
