Advice: Use an approved taxi, make sure the taximeter is on and give a look from time to time. The return trip of the taxi is never paid, only the journey made with the customer. Tips are not usual, however it is common practice to round up the final sum.

   Bicycles

Madrid is a city which stands out for its development in cycle lanes, because almost all the city is prepared for the use of bicylces. Madrid has a bicycle renting service, what is a novelty in this sector.

Renting:

BiciMAD:

How the renting works: scan at the terminal the annual ticket or your occasional ticket, pick up your chosen bicylce when the whistle is heard. When returning the bicycle, the light of the alerts turns green and when you hear the confirmation whistle, the bicycle is well secured.
