Connections: Murcia is well connected by bus, as it offers a wide regional service and good national and international connections.
Services: The bus station offers a left-luggage office, food stores and an information office from 7:00 to 22:00.
Where to buy tickets: Tickets can be bought in advance at the ticket office or vending machines up until 5 minutes before the bus departs. You can also buy online from the transport company web page and as well as in some particular cases, you can buy it on the bus.

Suggestions: Use an authorized taxi and check the speedometer at the beginning of the journey then every once in a while. Never pay for the retun trip of the taxi, pay only for the trip you have requested and made. Tipping is not common, but in some cases, it is at your decision if you want to round up the bill.

Bicycles
Murcia has an extended bicycle path. It offers a wonderful route which follows the Segura river. There are 2 types of renting:
1. Bicicampus
Way of renting: Exclusive service to Murcia University students. You need your Unibono or TUI. Introduce the PIN code and then you can take a bicycle. Do not forget to return it in another bike point during the same day. Keep in mind the timetable, from 7:00 to 21:00.

Train
Renfe Train Station – Murcia El Carmen
Connections and types of train:
Long or medium distance: Murcia Station is serviced by Talgo and Altaria which allow both national connections (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Cartagena or Albacete for example), and international connections (South of France)
Short-distance: There are two lines. The C-1 Line connects Murcia with Alicante by more than 20 trains per day. The C-2 Line has different timetables according to the destination: there are 10 trains for Lorca and 3 trains for Águilas every day.
Where to buy tickets: It is advisable to buy your ticket in advance, on the Renfe web page, at the window selling points or at the ticket vending machines. In some cases, if you do not have enough time, you can buy the ticket from the ticket inspector on the train.
