Where to buy a ticket: the regular ticket can be bought on the bus. Keep your money, ticket or bus card within hand's reach once on the bus, in order to speed up the boarding of passengers, as well as the receipt in case there is any problem. Bicycle
Barcelona has a wide network of cycling lanes all around the city, as well as a public bicycle rental service with automatic rental stations. This means of transport, less used than the others, has been gaining followers recently.
Bicycling and Electric Bicycling
Rental: 24 hour services all days of the year.
Rental method: use your cycling card, which you need to order online or at offices, at the bicycle station. Take the bicycle when you hear a beep after using your card and make sure the red light turns into green and there is a confirmation beep for when you give back the bicycle.
Rental points: 420 stations all around the city among which 45 are electric bicycling stations.

Estación Renfe/AVE Barcelona Sants
Connections and types of trains:
High Speed Train: Until the finalisation of Barcelona-La Sagrera, Sants Station is the departure point of High Speed Trains with destinations such as París, Madrid, Sevilla, Málaga, Lyon, Marseille y Toulouse.
Long-distance Train: trains Alvia and Euromed connecting Barcelona to Madrid, Zaragoza, Valencia, and the main cities of Navarre, Galicia, Andalusia and the Basque Country. Also, Talgo trains offer connections to Murcia and Seville. Nightly trips are included to Andalusia and Galicia.
Medium distance Trains: Regional, Regional Express and Catalunya Exprés connecting Barcelona to the main cities of Catalonia apart from those of the Community of Aragon and the Community of Valencia.
