INGREDIENTS
- 250g strong flour
- 100g sugar
- 100g butter
- 2 eggs
- 20g baking powder
- 1/2 glass of cow milk
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 lemon zest
- Pine nuts
- Varied candied fruit
INDICATIONS
- First, we dissolve the baking powder in the milk a bit hot.
- We add 3 spoonsful of flour making a smooth mixture and letting it settle until it doubles its volume.
- Next, we spread the flour on marble surface preferably and some butter in the middle with the eggs, the sugar, the salt, and the lemon zest.
- Now, we mix all those ingredients with our hand or with a fork, adding the fermented dough and kneading it with the flour in order to get thinner and more compact.
- After that, we stretch the dough on the countertop smeared with butter or olive oil and giving it around 1cm thickness and a oval shape.
- Before baking it, we spread beaten egg on it, the candied fruit in small pieces and we let it settle until the dough doubles its volume.
- Finally, we sprinkle the pine nuts on the dough, as well as the sugar and bake it for 20 minutes in the oven at 180ºC.
