BOTIFARRA AMB MONGETES

INGREDIENTS (FOR 4 PEOPLE)
- Butifarra (Catalan sausage).
- Kidney beans
- Salt
- Olive oil
- 2 strips of bacon
INDICATIONS
- First, we put the dry kidney beans to soak the night before we cook this dish.
- The next day we change the water and put them in a pot to boil on low heat, boiling for 2 or 3 hours, depending if they get tender sooner or later.
- 10 minutes before we take them out of the pot, we add a few pinches of salt. Then, we strain the kidney beans that we are going to eat.
- Now, we cut the bacon strips into smaller strips and fry them on the same frying pan that we will use later to mix it with the beans.
- We grill the the butifarra separate.
- Finally, we serve the beans with the bacon and put the butifarra on top around.
