COCA DE SAN ANTONIO

Coca San Antonio

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2l. olive oil
  • 1/2l. spirit
  • 1/4kg sugar
  • flour
  • 6 egg yolks (to own taste)

PREPARATION

- Oil and sugar are added to a bowl and mixed smoothly. The egg yolks can also be added.

- Stir constantly while carefully adding flour until a smooth dough that does not stick to the walls of the bowl is formed.

- Once it is ready, the dough is kneaded and split into portions to make “cocas” (flatbreads) of less than half centimetre thick and around 10 centimetres diameter.

- The “cocas” are placed on a baking tray and cooked in the oven until they are golden brown. Once they are removed from the oven, sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
