Reduce the energy consumed by your mobile phone: remove unnecessary sounds (such as the keyboard or notices ones) , avoid activating the screen only to review or check the time, and resist playing with it, this way your phone will consume less energy and the battery will last longer. Again, you would be reducing the amount of non-degradable / recyclable garbage.
6. Insulate your windows and doors so that in winter you manage to keep the heat in and in summertime you do so with the cool air conditioning.

8. Iron as many clothes as possible in one go.
9. Cleaning the filters of your washer, air conditioning and dishwasher allows for optimum performance and saves energy.
10. Use air conditioning in a temperature oscillating between 19 and 21 º C during the day and 15 and 17 º C in the bedrooms at night.
11. Kitchen pressure cookers consume less. With conventional pots, covering them is all you need in order to save.
12. Keep the minimum necessary in the refrigerator. Having things stored just in case is no good as energy is being spent on cooling plastics, metals, etc. |
