TALVINAS

Talvinas

Autor: Corazon de Almibar (blogspot) Licencia: CC-BY-NC-ND

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ dl olive oil
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 litre of milk
  • 100g of wheat flour
  • 1 spoonful of ground cinnamon
  • ½ spoonful of aniseed
  • 50g of peeled almonds

INDICATIONS

- First, we put the olive oil in earthenware pot and fry the sliced bread in dices with the aniseeds and the almonds. Then, we keep them for later. In the same olive oil we pour the milk and, before it boils, we add the flour little by little, stirring continuously with a spoon. Next, we add aniseed and put it away from the heat after 5 minutes.
- When we get a smooth white paste, we put it in a deep dish. Now, we sprinkle the bread, the sugar and a few spoonfuls of milk to our liking for it to be smoother, sprinkling also cinnamon and crushed almonds. Finally, we let it all settle for a while before serving.
