Leche Frita

INGREDIENTS

  •  5 or 6 big spoonfuls of cornflour
  •  A couple of milk glasses (half a litre)
  •  Around 110 grams of sugar
  •  1 lemon zest and cinnamon sticks
  • Sugar and ground cinnamon

INDICATIONS

- First of all, we have to do several mixtures separately: on the one hand, half of the milk with the sugar, cinnamon and the lemon zest in a saucepan until they boil a little; on the other hand, we mix the rest of the milk with the cornflour, stirring it all well.
- Once the milk is boiling, we add the mixture of milk with cornflour and keep stirring it all and heating until it starts boiling again.
- Next, we wet the mould a little bit and pour the mixture in and keep it in the fridge for hours to curdle well.

- Now, when it has curdled, we cut it into dices and coat them in batter, frying them until they are brown.
- Once they are fried, we coat them in sugar and cinnamon, and they are ready to serve.
